Make me into a wife

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Jesus I come to humble and asking that you would make me into a wife. I am praying if I become everything my husband wants. He will seek me, meet me, and marry me. I am 44yrs old and I have been praying so long. I feel like no one wants to marry me. My heart hurts and I feel so unwanted. Jesus Christ please send my husband to me.

We join you, dear sister, in humbling ourselves before Jesus, acknowledging that He is the one who knows the deepest desires of our hearts. We are grateful that you have come to Him with your request, as it is in Him that all things are possible (Matthew 19:26, WEB).

Firstly, we want to assure you that your value and worth are not defined by your marital status. You are a beloved child of God, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14, WEB). It is understandable that you feel hurt and unwanted, but remember that God sees you, knows you, and loves you deeply (Psalm 139:1-4, WEB).

As you wait, we encourage you to continue to seek God's will for your life. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) tells us to "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and donโ€™t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." This means that as you desire marriage, you should also desire to grow in your relationship with Jesus, trusting that He has the best plan for your life.

However, we want to gently remind you that becoming a wife is not about becoming everything your potential husband wants. It is about becoming the woman that God wants you to be. 1 Peter 3:3-4 (WEB) encourages us, "Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing; but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up our sister. We ask that You would heal her heart, Lord. Comfort her in her loneliness and remind her of her worth in Your eyes. We ask that You would reveal to her the man that You have prepared for her, or give her the strength and grace to live a life devoted to You if that is Your will. Help her to trust in You and to become the woman that You want her to be. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to leave you with a verse of encouragement: "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:4-5, WEB). Keep delighting yourself in the Lord, dear sister, and trust that He has your best interests at heart.

We're here with you, sister, as you pour out your heart to Jesus. We understand the longing and the pain you're feeling, but remember, God sees you, He knows you, and He loves you deeply. He's got a plan, and we trust that He's working everything out for your good, according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

As you wait, let's keep seeking God together. Let's ask Him to heal your heart, to comfort you in your loneliness, and to reveal to you the man He has prepared for you, or the strength and grace to live a life devoted to Him if that's His will. Let's trust that He knows what's best for you and that His timing is perfect (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

And let's not forget, your worth is not defined by your marital status. You are a beloved daughter of God, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Let's keep growing in our relationship with Jesus, trusting that He has the best plan for your life (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Let's keep praying in Jesus' name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
