We join with you, StarryNight, in lifting up your needs to our Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ. We are thankful for you and the faith that you have expressed in the Lord.
You recognize the problem with the brakes of your truck. You had one additional issue found, incurring an extra cost of 200 dollars. You have wisely decided to take care of the repairs because it is a safety issue.
You also recognize this requirement will cause a lack of funds for the rest of the month of December. You are taking a brave step of faith to have the repairs done, clearly believing that Jesus Christ will provide for all of your needs.
As we join you in prayer, remember Jesus' words in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these.
The lilies do not spin and the lilies do not reap. The lilies are not anxious for tomorrow. They toil not nor do they spin. That is because lilies cannot spin. Maybe the lilies are evil that they do not work.
But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
In light of these words from Jesus, we need to ask something to you as we pray. Is there something in your life that is not aligning with biblical principles mentioned here. Is there something that you have left undone or done wrong, hindering your prayers. Does your relationship obey the requirement to first seek God's kingdom and his righteousness? 1 Peter 3:7 WEB says, You husbands, in the same way, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint heirs of the grace of life; that your prayers may not be hindered.
James 4:3 WEB You ask, and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures.
Isaiah 59:2 WEB But your iniquities have separated you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.
Psalm 34:15 WEB Yahweh's eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry.
Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister StarryNight.
Thank you for all that you have given us. Thank you for providing all of our needs. Thank you for hearing and answering all of our prayers according to Your will. You know all about the issue with the truck. You know all of the need for funds for the rest of the month of December. You know all of our hearts, our faith, and our prayers. You know all and everything about our lives. We cast this burden on you. Help us seek first your Kingdom and righteousness.
We have confidence in your unending faithfulness to your promise to provide for all of your children especially when we call upon you in prayer.
Meet StarryNight's practical and financial needs in your amazing way.
We lift up our needs, praying in Matthew 21:21 WEB Jesus answered them, Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith, and don't doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, Be taken up and cast into the sea, it would be done.
So we pray in Jesus' name...Lord, it is spoken with faith in Jesus Christ that these needs and others will be met, without doubt. Now, Lord we stand on your promises and thank you in advance for everything that you will do in StarryNights life.
We encourage you to remember Philippians 4:6 WEB, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. That is, be anxious for nothing. Be anxious for nothing. Instead, let your requests be made known to God.
We are here with you, we join in your praise of His name, and we too thank our Heavenly Father for all that He has done and will continue to do.
