We are truly sorry to hear about your health struggles and the impact they have had on your life and even your commitments, such as missing horse appointments. We lift you up in prayer, seeking God's healing and comfort for you in Jesus's Name.
Firstly, we must remember that God is the ultimate healer. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, Don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over your life and pray for your healing.
However, we must also address that the request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). The Bible tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). It is only through Jesus Christ that we can access God, and in His name, we can pray effectively and expect to see answers. Jesus said, "If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:14 WEB)
Furthermore, we encourage you to not just seek physical healing but also spiritual well-being. As Jesus asked the paralyzed man in Mark 2:9 WEB, "Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven;’ or to say, ‘Arise, and take up your bed, and walk?’" Jesus healed the man physically but also made sure to address his spiritual condition. We pray that as you seek God's healing, you will also draw closer to Him and experience His forgiveness and salvation if you have not already.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend who is struggling with COPD, colds, coughs, and throat issues. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon their body. We claim Your promise in Psalm 103:3 that You heal all our diseases.
We also pray that through this trial, our friend will draw closer to You, experiencing Your love, forgiveness, and salvation. We ask that You will guide the doctors and provide wisdom for the upcoming appointment.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
