Let's come together in prayer for this dear sister and her daughter, who is in desperate need of healing, deliverance, and hope. We are reminded of the words in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a contrite spirit."
Firstly, we must address the fact that the request does not mention Jesus Christ or give thanks in Jesus' name but rather uses the phrase 'Jesus Mighty name' which is not used to end prayers in the Bible. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Therefore, we look to Jesus Christ for salvation, healing, and deliverance.
Now, let us pray for this daughter, who feels overwhelmed, sad, and depressed, that the Lord would touch her heart and bring her hope. We pray that she would encounter Jesus in a real and powerful way, knowing that He is all she needs. We ask the Lord to heal her from her depression and deliver her from all oppression. May He be her strength and comfort in her struggles, and may He give her wisdom and direction as she navigates her role as a single mother and business owner.
We must also address the idea that she believes all she needs is a partner. While we understand the desire for companionship, we must remember that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. We pray that God would bring a godly husband into her life if it is His will, and that He would surround her with godly friends and a supportive church community. May she not seek a partner simply for the sake of having one, but rather trust in the Lord to provide a spouse who will love and cherish her as Christ loves the church.
Let us remember 1 Corinthians 7:8-9, "But I say to the unmarried and to widows, it is good for them if they remain even as I am. But if they don't have self-control, let them marry. For it's better to marry than to burn."
We also pray for a breakthrough in her finances and her business, that the Lord would open doors and provide for her needs according to His riches in glory. May He guide her in her decisions and bless the work of her hands.
Finally, we pray for her children, that they would be surrounded by love and support, and that they would come to know Jesus at an early age. May they be blessed and grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, We pour out our hearts to You, asking for Your healing, deliverance, and guidance for this precious daughter. Touch her heart, Lord, and bring her hope. Surround her with godly friends and a supportive church community, and if it is Your will, bring a godly husband into her life. Provide for her needs according to Your riches in glory, and bless her business and her children. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
