Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother M who is struggling with anger issues. Lord, Your Word tells us in James 1:19-20, "Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires." We ask that You help M to embody these words, to be slow to anger and quick to seek Your peace.
Father, we know that anger can be a powerful and destructive force, but we also know that through You, all things are possible. We ask that You fill M with Your Holy Spirit, granting him the strength and wisdom to overcome these feelings of anger. Help him to find peace in Your presence and to turn to You in moments of frustration and rage.
Lord, we pray that You would heal any underlying wounds or issues that may be contributing to M's anger. Grant him the grace to forgive those who have wronged him and to seek forgiveness from those he may have hurt. As it says in Ephesians 4:31-32, "Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."
We trust in Your power to transform hearts and minds, and we believe that You can bring about a change in M's life. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
