Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother Trimsemiet. Lord, he has been struggling with lust and the bondage of watching pornography daily for the past two years. We ask for Your forgiveness and mercy upon him. Your Word says in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We claim this promise for Trimsemiet today.
Lord Jesus, we pray that You break the chains of addiction and lust that have held him captive. Grant him the strength and resolve to turn away from these sins and to seek purity and holiness in his life. Your Word in Matthew 5:8 says, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." Help Trimsemiet to strive for a pure heart and to seek Your face daily.
Holy Spirit, fill him with Your presence and guide him in paths of righteousness. Help him to replace these harmful habits with time spent in prayer, reading Your Word, and seeking fellowship with other believers. We pray for a complete transformation in his life, that he may walk in the freedom and victory that is found in Christ Jesus.
We thank You, Lord, for Your grace and for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your power to deliver and restore. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray.
