Trusting God's peace for you, Doruerxolrath. "Cast your anxiety on him because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). Believing for restful sleep and soul's peace. We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of Luna, your beloved cat. In this time of grief, we turn to the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, who reminds us, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted" (Matthew 5:4, WEB).
Firstly, we want to address that the Bible does not explicitly state that animals have the same eternal destiny as humans. However, we find comfort in knowing that God cares for all His creation. As it is written, "Look at the birds of the sky. They don't sow, nor reap, nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?" (Matthew 6:26, WEB). We trust that Luna is at peace and free from pain, as you have so lovingly wished.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Omar and their family in their time of loss. We thank You for the joy and companionship Luna brought into their lives. We ask that You comfort their hearts and help them to stay strong, knowing that You care for them and are close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18, WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Omar, to draw near to God in this time of sorrow. He is always there to comfort and sustain you. As it is written, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you" (James 4:8, WEB). May the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is through His name that we have access to God, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB).
