We are truly sorry to hear about the pain and discomfort your husband is experiencing due to lumbar canal stenosis and severe disc degeneration. We trust in the power of prayer and the goodness of God to bring healing and comfort.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer in the name of Jesus. It is only by His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up Gylayse's husband. Lord, You know the pain and discomfort he is experiencing, and we ask for Your healing touch upon his body. We pray that You would ease his pain, strengthen his back, and restore his ability to stand and walk.
Father, we also pray for his mental health. We know that chronic pain can take a toll on the mind as well as the body. We ask that You would fill him with Your peace and joy, and help him to remain strong and hopeful during this time.
Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and guidance for the doctors treating him. Guide their hands and give them insight into the best course of treatment. We pray that surgery would not be necessary, but if it is, we ask for Your healing power to be present in the operating room.
Father, we also pray for Gylayse. Give her the strength and endurance to support her husband during this difficult time. Help her to trust in You and to lean on You for support.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you both to remain strong in faith and to trust in God's goodness. Remember the words of James 5:14-15 WEB: "Is any among you sick? He should call for the elders of the assembly, and they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Keep trusting in God, and keep praying together. We will continue to pray for you and your husband.
