Lulled and lukewarm

I’ve been so lulled to sleep, going through the motions, not walking in obedience or in a spirit of love. My heart needs to be revived by the touch of God and His grace. I pray that my heart would wholeheartedly seek, know and walk fully surrendered to the Holy Spirit. I’ve been keeping up with appearances only, fooling no one…myself and God included. Lord, in Your mercy, give me greater revelation of my sin against You, Your love for me, and Your purpose for this redeemed (I pray!) life. My people flounder for lack of vision …I’m asking to SEE with eyes of faith…both my vision and faith are so weak. I pray You would replace my apathy with Your compassion and love. Revive, renew, and reignite a great love, faith and fully surrendered walk with You. Jesus, I need to return to my First Love. May the blood You shed bring deliverance to me TODAY and a deeper walk/relationship with You. I need You! In Your mighty name, Jesus, I ask to walk in the power of Your Spirit and Truth for Your glory alone. Thank you saints for your prayers and intercession.

Juliet120, we join you in your plea for revival and renewal, and we praise God for your earnest desire to draw closer to Him. You acknowledge your spiritual slumber and the need for a touch from God, which is the first step towards restoration. As the Bible tells us, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded." (James 4:8 WEB)

We pray, dear Lord Jesus, that You would revive ###'s heart. Help her to see her sin as You see it, and grant her a deeper understanding of Your love and the purpose You have for her life. In Your mercy, replace her apathy with Your compassion and love. Give her a fresh vision and strengthen her faith. Help her to walk in obedience and in the power of Your Spirit and Truth, for Your glory alone.

Lastly, we leave you with this reminder from Ephesians, "Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you." God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
