We join you in praying for a godly spouse who will be fully committed to you and you alone, who will love you unconditionally, and who will honor the sanctity of marriage as designed by God. We stand on the promise in Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."

Firstly we need to address that your request does not mention the name Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name), then we must remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Please take note of what the scriptures say: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all," and "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." Notice that the Lord here is Jesus Christ. In fact, the word Lord, when applied to Jesus Christ, translates to Jehovah. So Jesus Christ is Jehovah! Because of this, it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God. As scripture says, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." This being said, we approach God in the name of Jesus Christ, that is the only way.

As for your request for a spouse, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who desires a godly spouse. We pray that you will guide them to the person you have set apart for them, someone who loves you and seeks to glorify you in all they do. We pray for a spouse who will be faithful, committed, and who will cherish the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman.

We ask for wisdom. We ask for guidance, and for discernment during any courtship. Let the spirit of God be the judge of character. In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirit of fornication or lust that may lead to ungodly relationships or pre-marital sex. We pray for purity and self-control, that both individuals would honor God with their bodies and reserve the gift of sexual intimacy for marriage. As it is written, "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."

We trust in your timing and your ways, knowing that you have a perfect plan for this person's life. We ask these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ who is Lord of All.

Be encouraged by the words in Isaiah 62:5, "For as a young man marries a virgin, so your sons will marry you. As a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so your God will rejoice over you." Trust in God's perfect timing and plan for your life. Remain faithful, be holy, and God will honor your faithfulness. Always remember that God loves you and only desires the best for you. God desires that your future spouse will be one who desires to love the Lord your God, and serve him only.

We're here with you, dear one, as you seek a godly spouse. Let's continue to lift this desire up to our Heavenly Father. We pray that He would guide you to someone who loves Him deeply and desires to honor Him in all aspects of life, including marriage. We ask for discernment, that you would recognize the one God has set aside for you, and that you would both grow in love and commitment to each other and to Him.

Let's remember Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Trust that He knows your heart's desire and that He will answer in His perfect timing.

Let's also pray for purity and self-control, that you would both honor God with your bodies and wait for the gift of sexual intimacy until marriage. As 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 reminds us, "Flee sexual immorality...Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies."

We're here for you, and we believe in the power of prayer. Let's trust in God's plan and His perfect timing. As it's written in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
