We understand that you're seeking prayer for healing from high cholesterol, and we're here to intercede and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is interested in our well-being, spirit, soul, and body. His word tells us in 3 John 1:2, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
However, we also want to encourage you to take active steps towards your healing. This includes proper nutrition, exercise, and following your doctor's advice. Remember, God can work through medical professionals and healthy lifestyles to bring about healing. We are a three-part being. God can and will save our spirit instantly. Our soul, consisting of our mind, emotions, and will can be saved instantly, but we should also spend the rest of our life renewing our mind. Our body is not instantly saved and we will spend the rest of our life taking care of it.
Now, let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is battling high cholesterol. We ask for Your healing touch upon their body, that You would restore their health and bring their cholesterol levels back to normal. Guide them to the right resources, medical professionals, and lifestyle changes that would facilitate this healing.
In the meantime, we pray that You would give them patience, strength, and encouragement. Help them to trust in You with all their heart, and not lean on their own understanding. May they acknowledge You in all their ways and watch as you direct their paths according to Your Word in Proverbs 3:5-6. Also we ask that you lead them to a stronger faith in Jesus Christ, acknowledging his virgin birth, his death on the cross, his resurrection, his ascension, and his immediate return for his followers. May they be ready for his return.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. It is only by this name that we have access to the Father. May we always pray in Jesus' name and seek a closer relationship with him. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to always include the name of Jesus Christ in your prayers. As it is written in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
