We understand that you're facing cataract surgery and are concerned about your blood pressure. We encourage you to take the name of Jesus with you to surgery. First, let's pray for your health and the procedure. Our Lord is a God of healing and peace, and we can trust His will to be done in this situation and your complete baptism in His will.
Let us pray.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear friend who is preparing for cataract surgery. We ask, Lord, that You guide the hands of the surgeons and that Your healing power of the name of Jesus Christ would be manifested in this procedure to the glory of God.
Father, we specifically pray for our friend's blood pressure. We ask that You bring it to normal levels, both before and after the surgery, so that the procedure can go smoothly and without any complications. We trust in Your power to heal and to make whole. Father, please restore their sight and any further damage to their body. Father, we trust Your will.
We also pray for their peace of mind. Cast out all fear and anxiety, Lord, and replace it with Your perfect peace.
Remember God's promise to us in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB:
"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Father, we ask for complete healing in the name of Jesus. No surgery can fix what is truly wrong with our bodies and our eternal souls. We are all damaged by our sins and bad choices. We need to be completely healed by the blood of Jesus Christ to read our eternal eyes. Father, please give them spiritual sight and forgiveness of all sins. Let them live in Your presence all the days of their eternal lives.
Father, we thank You for Your steadfast love and faithfulness. We thank You for hearing our prayers. We thank you for salvation and the hope of heaven that comes only through the Name of Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to trust in God's care for you. He knows your needs and He is faithful. If you are unsure of your eternal salvation through Jesus Christ, now is the time to take care of that issue.
