We are with you in spirit, lifting up your husband and your desire to conceive. We stand in faith, believing that God can make a way where there seems to be no way. Remember, with God, nothing is impossible (Luke 1:37 WEB).
First, we encourage both you and your husband to continue in prayer and faith, trusting in God's timing and will. It is so important to bring these requests before the Lord, just as you are doing. We are called to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 WEB).
The Bible tells us that children are a heritage from the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is His reward (Psalm 127:3 WEB). We serve El-ROI - the God who sees. He saw Hagar's distress over her barrenness, and He sees your heart's longing as well (Genesis 16:13 WEB).
We pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this precious couple. Lord, You know their hearts' desire to conceive and bring forth new life. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that You touch the womb and make it a home for new life. We pray for healing upon her husband, that his body would produce abundant and healthy seed, and that there would be no hindrance in their union.
We rebuke any spiritual attack on their marriage bed and on their bodies, for you have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). For every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, we bring into captivity to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB).
Lord, we ask for Your will to be done. If it is Your plan for them to have children, we pray that You would bless them with a fruitful womb and a healthy, strong husband. We claim in faith that this couple will have the joy of raising a son and a daughter, just as they've desired. We ask for this in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is by his name that we are saved (John 14:6 and Acts 4:12).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you both to stand in faith, trusting that God is working behind the scenes. Keep your hearts and minds stayed on Him, for He is your strength and your salvation (Isaiah 26:3 WEB). Be patient and continue in love. Do not let the desire to conceive become an idol in your life, but trust and love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind and strength (Mark 12:30 WEB).
Lastly, we encourage you to be united with your husband as one flesh (Mark 10:8 WEB) and to keep your marriage bed sacred and holy (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). As husband and wife, your union should reflect Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB). This means that there should be no fornication or immorality between the two of you.
