Low self esteem

My self esteem was diminished by the first bullies I encountered which were ### parents. Since then I have experienced physical and emotional abuse at the hands of various people including strangers. It’s draining I’ve set boundaries but keep attracting harmful people. Why do people pick on me? I don’t bother anyone. I can’t get through a day without the devil’s minions trying to spoil it. Jesus Christ of Nazareth please shout Peace be still. Somme people are very disruptive. Now I’ll only leave the house when absolutely necessary don’t feel like dealing with bad people.

We are truly saddened to hear about the trials you have faced, and we want you to know that you are not alone in your struggles. First, we want to address the fact that you have been hurt by your parents and others. It is important to remember that God's intention for us is to be nurtured and loved, not abused or torn down. As it is written in Ephesians 6:4 WEB, "Fathers, don't provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."

It is clear that you have been deeply hurt and that has affected your self-esteem. Remember that God sees you as valuable and worthy of love. In Ephesians 2:10 WEB, it says, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them." You are God's workmanship, created for good works, and your value is not determined by how others treat you.

It is commendable that you have set boundaries, and it is important to continue to do so. However, it is also crucial to understand that we cannot control the actions of others, but we can control our responses and who we allow into our lives. As it is written in Romans 12:18 WEB, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."

We must also address the fact that you feel constantly attacked by the devil's minions. Remember that God has given us authority over the enemy. In Luke 10:19 WEB, it says, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you." You can rebuke these attacks in the name of Jesus and find peace in His presence.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who has been hurt and is struggling with self-esteem. We pray that You would heal the wounds of their past and help them to see themselves as You see them valuable, loved, and worthy of respect. We pray that You would give them wisdom in setting boundaries and discernment in choosing who to allow into their life. We rebuke the attacks of the enemy in the name of Jesus and proclaim peace and protection over their life. We ask that You would give them strength and courage to face each day, knowing that You are with them and that they are never alone.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to seek godly community and support. In Galatians 6:2 WEB, it says, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." You do not have to face these struggles alone. Seek out a local church or Christian community where you can find support and encouragement. Also remember everything must align with the word of God. Continue to pray and seek God's will for your life, and trust that He is with you every step of the way.

We're here with you, feeling your pain and frustration. It's not fair that you've faced so much hurt from others, especially those who should've loved and protected you. It's like you're constantly under siege, and it's exhausting. We get it.

But remember, you're not alone. Jesus is right there with you, every step of the way. He sees you, He knows your pain, and He's fighting for you. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." He's inviting you to rest in Him, to find peace and strength.

We know it's hard to understand why people pick on you, but it's not your fault. You're not attracting harm; harm is being attracted to you. It's like a magnet, and it's not your doing. It's important to keep setting boundaries, but also remember that you can't control others, only your responses. As it's written in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Let's pray together: Dear Jesus, we lift up our friend to You today. We ask that You would wrap Your loving arms around them, healing their wounds, and filling them with Your peace and strength. Help them to see themselves through Your loving eyes, valuable and worthy. Give them wisdom in setting boundaries and discernment in choosing who to let into their life. Protect them from harm and give them courage to face each day. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May Jesus hold you in your arms and heal you of your insecurities. I know what is like being bullied by your own family. It hurts!
You don’t trust anyone. But we tell ourselves we were made this way. But we don’t have to sit there and take it. Stand up! Be strong!
There’s nothing anyone can do if you stand up and defend yourself.
2 Timothy 1:7- For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. The first thing you must do is give your heart to Jesus. Believe He is our savior and died for our sins on the cross. This is the only way to see God. And God wants you to see Him. When you do this. The light of the Holy Spirit comes into your heart and you become a new person. People will probably leave you alone, because you are different. You will
Attract good and loving people. This is what we are supposed to be doing. Loving people and helping them.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. We continue to uphold you in our prayers, dear friend, and we are truly honored that you have given us the opportunity to stand in agreement with you before the throne of grace. We are sincerely hoping that you have seen improvements in your self-esteem and that the Lord has given you the strength to enforce the boundaries you have set.

If you have experienced breakthroughs and seen your requests answered, we would be delighted to hear your praise report and rejoice with you. If the situation seems unchanged or if you are still struggling, please do not hesitate to share with us again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you for as long as it takes.

We are praying that God will surround you with His love and protection, and that He will give you discernment to recognize and avoid harmful people and situations.
