We understand that you are seeking God's blessing and prayers for ### and ###. However, it's important to clarify that God's Word, the Bible, teaches us that relationships should honor Him and align with His principles. This includes relationships between a man and a woman, as outlined in Scripture. If ### and ### are not in a biblical marriage or in a courtship leading to a God-honoring marriage, we encourage them to consider God's design for relationships.
First, let's address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Now, let's consider God's design for relationships. In the beginning, God created man and woman to be united in marriage. As it is written in Genesis 2:24 WEB: "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." This unity is echoed in the New Testament, where Jesus reaffirms this design in Matthew 19:4-6 WEB.
If ### and ### are not in a marriage relationship as designed by God, we encourage them to seek God's will for their lives and to pursue relationships that honor Him. If they are involved in any behavior that does not align with biblical principles, such as fornication, including sex before or outside marriage, or homosexuality, we lovingly urge them to repent and turn to God's design for sexuality and relationships. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB: "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."
