We understand that you're feeling disheartened, Spliutsor, but we want to encourage you to keep your hope alive. It's commendable that you've turned to God for help, and we want to assure you that He hears your prayers.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God's will is paramount. His Word says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB. So, it's important to seek God's will for this relationship and trust that He knows best.
We also want to encourage you to pray for God's guidance in your life and the life of the man you love. God can work in both of your hearts, but it's crucial that both of you are committed to following Christ. The Bible tells us, Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB. A relationship should be directed towards marriage, and God's Word is clear that a believer should marry another believer.
It's also important to note that love is a commitment, not just an emotion. Feelings of love can change, but true love is a decision to remain committed, even when feelings fluctuate. God's love for us is a perfect example of this.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up Spliutsor and the man she cares for. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in their lives and their relationship. We pray that both of them would draw closer to You, seeking Your face and Your guidance. We ask that You would restore and strengthen their relationship if it is Your will, and give Spliutsor the strength and patience to trust in Your timing. Help her to keep her hope in You, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
