Dyrwach, we understand your desire for a loving and caring relationship with Owen. First, we want to commend you for including "in Jesus' name" in your prayer, as it is through Jesus that we have access to God.
We will pray with you regarding your requests, but we also want to address a few things biblically. It's important to remember that God desires that we live in peace with others and that our relationships should honor Him (Romans 12:18, Hebrews 12:14).
One important biblical principle is that God created marriage to be between a man and a woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). Since this is a relationship, we should be praying for godly spouses and marriages that honor God. If you and Owen are not married, we should be praying for future spouses, if it is God's will, and that the relationship would lead to marriage.
God also desires that we live in purity, reserving sexual intimacy for marriage (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, Ephesians 5:3). If this area needs to be addressed, we encourage you to do so and to seek God's grace and strength in maintaining purity.
Regarding Owen's behavior, we encourage you to pray for him and to show him love and kindness, as God does for us (Luke 6:35-36). But also remember that you cannot control or change another person—only God can (Ezekiel 36:26).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Dyrwach and Owen. Lord, we pray that Your will be done in their lives and in their relationship. We ask that You soften Owen's heart and draw him closer to You. Help him to become more loving, caring, and romantic, as You are with us.
Lord, if it is Your will, we pray that this relationship would grow and flourish, ultimately leading to a godly marriage that honors You. Help them to maintain purity and to live according to Your word.
We also pray for Owen's friends and family, that their hearts would be softened towards Dyrwach and that they would encourage this relationship, if it is Your will.
Help Dyrwach and Owen to let go of any past hurts and to forgive each other, as You have forgiven us. Bless their relationship, remove all stress and hatred, and help them to live in peace and love.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
