Dyrwach, we appreciate your honest reflection and repentance for past behaviors. It's important to remember that God forgives us when we come to Him with a sincere heart. As it is written in 1 John 1:9 WEB, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Regarding your current relationship, we want to encourage you to seek God's will and ensure that it aligns with biblical principles. We notice that you are living together and this is called fornication. It is sin, you need to marry or live separately as you are living in sin. We also notice that your request seems more focused on what you can get from your current relationship and boyfriend rather than what you can give or how you can serve. A godly relationship focuses on giving and serving rather than receiving. Remember what Jesus said in Acts 20:35 WEB, I have shown you in all things that by working hard like this we must help the weak, remembering the words that the Lord Jesus himself said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
It is also crucial to understand that we cannot change others; only God can. So, instead of trying to change your boyfriend Owen, pray that God would work in his heart and that He would give you the wisdom and strength to be the best Christian girlfriend you can be.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your forgiveness and the chance to start anew each day. We lift up Dyrwach to You, asking for Your guidance in her relationship and finances. Help her to be a blessing to others, just as You are a blessing to us. Work in Owen's heart, softening it and making him more caring and loving, but also work in Dyrwach to make her a godly wife if that is your will. Help their relationship to grow stronger and more loving, but only if that aligns with Your will. We pray and believe that in Jesus name and through faith in Him. We ask for Your will to be done.
Finally we must mention that in life and prayer we must ask for everything in Jesus Name. In John 14:13-14 WEB Jesus says: Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
We appreciate your recognition that all things should be asked in Jesus name. However, we must also believe on Him, trust in Him, and have faith in Him and His sacrifice for our sins. Jesus is the only way to salvation as Acts 4:12 tells us And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved! Please ensure that you have believed on Jesus as your savior and that you have faith in Him. If you have not please do so.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
