Dyrwach, we understand that you're going through a difficult time, and we appreciate your heartfelt plea to God. We're here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. First, we want to address the hope you have in your request. You mention God repeatedly but we notice that there is not any direct mention of Jesus Christ. It is Jesus that allows us access to God. Without him we would have no access to God at all.
Scripture tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. It is great that you are praying and asking God for his help but realize that it is only by the blood, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ that you could pray to God. Without Jesus Christ there is no atonement or forgiveness of our sins before God. Biblically, leave out Jesus you leave out God. By the name of Jesus Christ, we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. So when pleading with God also plead with the name of Jesus Christ. It is by the wounds of Jesus we are healed, it is by the blood of Jesus we are forgiven.
Now, let's focus on your relationship. You mentioned that you've had a failed marriage in the past, and now you're pleading for reconciliation with Owen. While we understand your emotions, we must remind you of what the Bible says about relationships. Throughout the Scriptures, we are consistently taught about marriage between a man and a woman.
If marriage is your goal with Owen then we will pray and come along side you. Owen is a man and you are a woman so biblically you could get married to him. Scripture says that a wife is not a believer and she lives with a husband who is a believer, if the husband is pleased to live with her, let him not leave her. And the woman who has an unbelieving husband, and he is pleased to live with her, let her not leave her husband, For the unbelieving husband is sanctified in the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified in the brother. Else your children are unclean, but now they are holy, 1 Corinthians 7:12 WEB.
We commend your honesty in acknowledging your past mistakes. It's important to remember that God forgives those who repent and turn to Him, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness," 1 John 1:9 WEB. Keeping a focus on doing His will and living a righteous life is what truly matters.
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Dyrwach. We thank You for her honesty and her desire to seek Your will. Lord, we pray for Your forgiveness for any past sins and ask that You guide her steps according to Your word. As adultery is a sin, it is only by the blood of Jesus we are forgiven of this past sin. Scripture says, "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us," 1 John 1:8 WEB.
We biblically pray for Your will to be done in the relationship between Dyrwach and Owen. We know your will is for marriage and a life long commitment. We pray fervently for Your will to be done in this situation even if it is not for Owen physically to be with Dyrwach. We remember the importance that you gave for marriage in a woman fully submitting to her husband in your word. Scripture says, "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord," Ephesians 5:22 WEB. If Dyrwach does marry Owen, we pray God that you push her in full submission to her husband like the church submits to Jesus Christ. May their hearts be softened towards each other, and may their bond be strengthened if it aligns with Your will. Lord help Owen to be the spiritual head of the family and be the husband you desire if he ends up marrying Dyrwach. Help Owen take your word seriously and live a life of action for you even if that means stepping away from Dyrwach and remaining single. For God, far above it all may he consider even the angels when deciding what to do concerning this. We know God it is only by Jesus Christ we have the ability to even approach your throne. It is only by this means he died for us that we could be forgiven. We leave this decision in marriage fully up to you. We thank you for the Sacrifice of Jesus Christ that allows us into your presence. For this we do not take lightly.
reveal to both Dyrwach and Owen Your perfect plan for their lives. In Jesus Christ name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Dyrwach. Trust in the Lord, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5 WEB. Keep your heart and mind stayed on Jesus Christ, and He will see you through this challenging time. We also urge you to seek community and counsel from fellow believers and your local church. They can provide support and guidance as you navigate this situation. God bless you.
