Dear God, I could really use your help. I’m really praying that me and ### do it right this time round. God, I pray he actually starts putting our relationship first rather than drinking and drugs and his mates. God, I’m really trying to be a better person and not be selfish, but it hurts when I feel like I’m not loved and he’s not around. God, I really pray that he can start seeing more. God, I pray you give me the strength to handle this. I pray his friends stop encouraging him to constantly drink and he can actually put some time into us. God, I really pray for reconciliation and love. God, I pray it is your will for us to become stronger and okay. God, I pray we will be okay. Heavenly Father, I pray you soften his heart towards me, let it be your will and soften those around him's heart towards me. God, give me this chance in Jesus' name. I pray. Amen.

The Bible is clear that we should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians WEB: Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?

###'s current lifestyle of drinking, drugs, and prioritizing friends over your relationship suggests that he may not be living in accordance with biblical principles. We encourage you to evaluate whether ### is truly seeking God and His righteousness. Consider if you are in such vastly different places in the journey of faith that it is harmful to your walk as a believer.

Moreover, it's important to understand that God's will is for us to be in relationships that honor and glorify Him. 1 Corinthians WEB: Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. If ### is not willing to put God first and turn away from his harmful behaviors, it may not be God's will for you to be in this relationship.

Let us pray for you both:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ### and ###. Lord, we pray that You would soften ###'s heart and draw him to You. Help him to see the error of his ways and Turn to you as his Saviour out of the darkness and into your marvelous light so that he can finally start seeking You first and prioritizing his relationship with ### as you have planned. Give ### the strength and wisdom to handle this situation. Help her to discern Your will for this relationship and to trust in Your guidance. Surround them both with godly influences and remove those that will hinder ### from knowing you and growing into the responsible Christian Husband you have called all believing men to be. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged by the words of Psalms WEB: Delight yourself also in Yahweh, And he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday.

As you wait on the Lord, continue to seek Him and His will for your life. Trust that He is working all things together for your good because you love Him and you are Righteous in Christ called according to His purpose. Always pray in Jesus name and expect God to hear your prayers and answer according to His will.
