We understand your heartfelt desire for reconciliation and forgiveness, Dyrwach. Let us together bring your request before the Lord and seek His will for your life.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in God's forgiving and loving nature. As it is written in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." It is wonderful that you have turned to Him in repentance and sought His forgiveness.
However, we must also remember that God's will is not always aligned with our own desires. In your prayer, you asked for Owen to be brought back into your life and for things to return to how they were before. While we understand your longing, it is crucial to seek God's will above all else. As it is written in Matthew 6:10, "Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth."
Moreover, we must address that your prayer seems to imply that you and Owen were in a relationship outside of marriage. In the Bible, sexual intimacy and cohabitation are reserved for the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman. As it is written in Hebrews 13:4, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." If this is the case, we encourage you to repent and turn away from this sin, trusting in God's forgiveness and grace.
We also appreciate that you acknowledged your past disloyalty and asked for another chance. God is indeed a God of second chances, but we must also be willing to accept the consequences of our actions and trust that God's plan is best for us. As it is written in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Dyrwach in prayer. Lord, we thank You for Your forgiving and loving nature. We ask that You forgive Dyrwach for their past mistakes and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in Dyrwach's life. If it is Your will for Owen and Dyrwach to reconcile and move towards a God-honoring marriage, we ask that You make that clear to them. But above all, Lord, we ask that Dyrwach continues to seek Your face and trust in Your plan for their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to pursue a right relationship with God. Trust in Him, and He will guide your paths. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
