Me and my ex have gotten close again and seem to be better friends and things are going okay and I just don’t want anything to ruin that God I ask you to let ### give me a second chance I pray he stops believing gossip I pray we fix things

Firstly, let's remember what the WEB says about reconciliation: "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone." (Romans 12:18) It's commendable that you're seeking peace and a renewed friendship. However, we must also heed the warning in Proverbs 4:23, "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life." It's crucial to guard your heart and emotions in this process.

Now, let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ### and ###. Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and guidance in their situation. If it is Your will, we pray that You would restore their friendship and help them to communicate effectively and honestly. We pray that ### would be discerning and not swayed by gossip. Lord, we ask that You would heal any past hurts and help them to forgive each other, just as You have forgiven us.

However, Lord, we also ask that You would guide them according to Your will. If this friendship is not beneficial for their spiritual growth or emotional well-being, we pray that You would make that clear to them. Help them to trust in You and Your plan for their lives.

###, we encourage you to continue seeking God's will in this situation. Remember, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Lastly, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus. Remember, it's through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5) We encourage you to approach God through Jesus, as it's in His name that we find salvation and grace.
