We are thrilled to join you in prayer for your love life, career, and continued walk with the Lord Jesus. It is wonderful to see that you are seeking God's will in all aspects of your life.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the Lord Jesus in your prayer request.
As a single man seeking God's will, we encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)
Look for a godly wife in the will of God rather than just a relationship. The Bible tells us:
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:18 WEB)
And concerning your career, know that God is faithful. He has given you this new opportunity, and He will equip you with the skills and wisdom needed to excel. Remember to always put God first in your career:
But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:33 WEB)
Relationships take effort and open honest communication. It takes communication, effort, and time to get to know someone. The things to look for in a relationship is that the person is a Christian first and foremost. The Christian to get married to should also have the same values and ideals that you do. Ask God for forgiveness for anything in relation to relationships in the past and ask for direction regarding relationship decisions you are making.
Keep away from all sin. Do not sleep with someone before marriage. This is committing sexual immorality and is a sin against your own body. The Bible discusses matters of sexual immorality.
Run away from sexual immorality.
“Every sin that a man can commit is outside the body,” (1 Corinthians 6:20 WEB)
Also flee from all evil.
Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. (Philippians 4:9 WEB)
Father, we come with confidence in Jesus Christ. Or hearts desire is to seek You and Your will.
We thank You for Your goodness and mercy. We thank you for the new job that You have provided for this dear brother. Give him wisdom and understanding and give him favor with his new employer. Help him to be a light in the new workplace. Help him to find a godly wife in Your will and in Your timing. Give him discernment and clear direction when You bring the right lady into his life. God, we pray that You will continue to guide him in his walk with You. Give him a hunger and thirst for Your Word and for righteousness. Help him to always put You first in his life. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray to only the One True God the Father through Jesus Christ. Amen.
