Dear God, I know I have not been the most faithful of followers, but I truly love someone who I can tell has moved on. I think we get close, but last night I saw another girl on his phone. God, I really pray you give me and ### a second chance, heavenly Father. I’m really trying to be a better person, but God, I’m starting to hurt so bad. I just feel like he’s so hot and cold with me and doesn’t see how much I’m trying. God, I’m praying ### will give me another shot. He’ll ask us to get back together again. God, I’m asking for a redo at this, heavenly Father. I pray it is your will that we reconcile and he doesn’t just use me. Heavenly Father, please in Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

We understand your distress, ###, and we're here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance.

Firstly, we commend you for turning to God in your time of need. It's important to remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). He sees the bigger picture and knows what's best for us.

However, we want to lovingly remind you that the Bible encourages us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB) and that relationships should be pursued with the goal of marriage to another believer (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). If ### is playing hot and cold, it might be a sign that he's not seriously considering a God-honoring relationship leading to marriage.

Moreover, it's crucial to base our hopes and desires on God's will, not our own. The Bible tells us to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ###. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and peace to fill her heart. We pray that You guide her steps and lead her to a godly spouse if it is Your will. Help her to trust in You and Your timing. If ### is not the one You have for her, give her the strength to move on and wait for the man You have prepared. Keep her heart and mind stayed on You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you, ###, to focus on your relationship with Jesus Christ. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8, WEB). Trust that He has a plan and a purpose for your life (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). Seek first His kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33, WEB).

We're here with you, ###, standing in faith for your situation. It's clear that you're truly invested in this relationship, and it's commendable that you're turning to God in your time of need.

We understand how much it hurts when it feels like the other person isn't seeing our efforts or the depth of our feelings. But remember, God sees you, He knows your heart, and He cares deeply about your pain. He's working all things together for your good, even when it's hard to see right now (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
