Love Extravagantly

My husband feels unloved by me. This last year was a stressful and hard one. It has us questioning each other, trust was broken, communication shattered. We are slowly picking up pieces and learning how to be us. However, my husband feels unloved. I want to love him with all my life. My marriage is a gift from God. I need patience and strength to lift my husband. God please intercede on my behalf. The Holy Spirit guide and push us. In Jesus Christ name.

Firstly, remember what God says about love in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (WEB): "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."

Let's pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and her husband. Lord, You know the struggles they've faced this past year, the broken trust, and shattered communication. We ask for Your healing power to restore their relationship.

Lord, ### wants to love her husband as You have commanded. Please fill her with Your love, patience, and strength. Guide her by Your Holy Spirit, help her to be a vessel of Your love, showing kindness, understanding, and grace.

We pray for her husband too, that his heart would be open to receiving love, that he would feel cherished and valued. Help them to rebuild trust and communication in their marriage, to forgive each other as You have forgiven us.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, continue to seek God together, pray together, and study His Word. God promises in Matthew 19:6 (WEB) that "So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate." Trust in His promise, and keep fighting for your marriage.
