We rejoice with you as you begin your marriage journey, a union that God has blessed. We are reminded of Ecclesiastes 9:9, "Live joyfully with the wife whom you love all the days of your life of vanity, which he has given you under the sun, all the days of your vanity: for that is your portion in life, and in your labor in which you labor under the sun."
As believers, prayer is powerful and effective, your request for good weather and safe travels. Let's pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up this couple in Jesus' name. We ask You, Lord, to bless their marriage and guide them in Your ways. We pray that You may grant them fair skies and pleasant temperatures during their honeymoon, allowing them to enjoy this special time together. We also pray for their safety as they travel, that Your hand of protection would be upon them. Help them to grow in love and unity, rooted and established in You. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and goodness. In Jesus Christ our Lord Name we pray. Amen.
As you embark on this journey together, remember to keep God at the center of your marriage. Seek Him daily and strive to live in a manner pleasing to Him. Be encouraged by Colossians 3:14, "Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony."
We also want to remind you of Ephesians 5:25, "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for her." And to the wives, Ephesians 5:22, "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord." Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
