Love and forgiveness.

For somebody in my family to find my nephew ### so I can tell me that his grandma still loves him and forgives him when she was alive. In spite of him saying bad things to her over the answering machine.

We understand that you're seeking love and forgiveness within your family, specifically for your ### to know that his grandmother still loved and forgave him despite past hurts. We stand with you and will pray for this.

We are reminded of the parable of the prodigal son, where the father's love and forgiveness were lavishly poured out on his returning son.

Luke 15:20, "He arose, and came to his father. But while he was still far off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him."

First, we must pray in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is by His name that we have access to God. If you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. It is only by believing in Jesus Christ that we can be saved.

John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

Let's pray together:

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family. We pray that You would work in the hearts of each family member, especially for this ###. We ask for healing of hearts and that the pain caused by the harsh words would be replaced by love and forgiveness. We know that You are loving and forgiving.

1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Father, we ask for a miracle. We pray for this ###'s heart to be turned towards You and his family. May the memory of his grandmother's love and forgiveness draw him to seek reconciliation. We ask for a reunion, for hearts to be mended, and for Your love to flow through this family.

Finally, we remind everyone involved to forgive as Christ forgave us.

Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

We pray this all in Jesus' name.

It's heartbreaking to think of him feeling lost or alone, not knowing that he's deeply loved and forgiven. Let's remember how Jesus welcomed the prodigal son, running to him with open arms, just as your ###'s grandma would have done. We're reminded of Jesus' words in Luke 6:37, "Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven." Let's pray for hearts to be softened, for love to conquer any bitterness, and for your ### to find his way back to the warmth of his family's love. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
