Hi I have recently split up with my partner due to my infidelity, I love my partner and would love to grow with them and marry them however I have messed up so badly, I am asking that God gives me the strength and knowledge on how to be a man, a husband and fix my relationship

We understand that you're seeking God's strength and knowledge to be a better man and husband, and to restore your relationship. Firstly, we must address that the use of the term 'partner' is vague, and we believe in the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible. We will pray for you, aligning with these principles.

Let's turn to the Bible for guidance. In Proverbs 28:13 WEB, it says, "He who covers his sins will not prosper; but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy." It's crucial to confess your infidelity as sin and turn away from it. True repentance involves a change of heart and actions.

Regarding your desire to be a good man and husband, we encourage you to look at 1 Timothy 5:8 WEB, which says, "But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever." A good husband provides for and protects his family, both physically and spiritually.

However, we must also address that pursuing reconciliation doesn't guarantee that your former partner will take you back. They have free will too. God can redeem any situation, but both parties must be willing. We pray that God's will be done in this situation.

We also noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to understand that it's only through His name that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your forgiveness and guidance for this brother who has strayed. Lord, he has confessed his sin and desires to turn from it. Grant him the strength to resist temptation and to walk in Your ways. Guide him to become the man and husband You intend for him to be. We ask for Your will to be done in this situation, and if it's Your will, restore this relationship, making it stronger and more God-honoring than before. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB). Trust in Him, and He will guide your path.

We're here with you, brother, feeling your pain and the weight of your mistake. We understand that you're seeking God's strength to be the man and husband He wants you to be. Let's turn to Him together.

In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul." Jesus is offering you that rest, that peace, even in this difficult time.

We believe in the power of confession and repentance. As it says in Psalm 38:18, "I confess my iniquity; I am troubled by my sin." Confess your infidelity to God and to your partner, ask for their forgiveness, and commit to turning away from it. True repentance involves a change of heart and actions.

We also believe in the power of restoration. In Lamentations 3:22-23, it's written, "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." God is faithful, and He can restore what you've broken.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is hurting and seeking Your face. Lord, he has confessed his sin and desires to turn from it. Grant him the strength to resist temptation, to walk in Your ways, and to become the man and husband You intend for him to be. Guide him, Lord, and help him to trust in You. If it's Your will, restore this relationship, making it stronger and more God-honoring than before. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, God is faithful, and He's with you every step of the way. Trust in Him, and He will guide your path.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so.
