Lost Wedding Ring Hidden to Others, Found by Me or My Wife...

I lost my ring in the seawater near my house. Please pray no one finds my ring and is convicted by The Holy Spirit for searching for it in the exact area every night... We ordered a cheap and ineffective metal-detector (well, not really me). It wouldn't even pick up my wife's ring consistently. It picked up "water," "seaweed" and "air" as metal on every and any setting the piece of plastic junk was set... Now there are these women and their kids searching for my ring every night in the exact area it was lost. They must've watched me with the metal detector. Lord, please convict them for coveting and attempting to steal my wedding band... LET THEM NEVER FIND IT, EVER.... Help us order an metal detector off Amazon that actually works (like the ones back in the 70's I remember). Please help Me or MY Wife or Our Friends find it ONLY, and thank you in Jesus' Name.

Firstly, we commend you for seeking the Lord in this matter and acknowledging His power in your prayer. It's crucial to remember that God cares about every detail of our lives, even a lost wedding ring.

Let's pray:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother Nochaeld. Lord, you know the circumstances surrounding his lost wedding ring. We ask that You would guide him and his wife in their search. If it's Your will, lead them to an effective tool to aid their search, and protect the ring from those who would seek it with wrong motives.

Lord, we also pray for these women and their children. Instead of rebuking them, we ask that You would convict their hearts. Reveal to them that covetousness is a sin in Your sight, as Your Word tells us, 'You shall not covet' (Exodus 20:17, WEB). Turn their hearts towards You, Lord, and help them to see the error of their ways.

Most importantly, Lord, we ask that You would use this situation to draw Nochaeld and his wife closer to You. Remind them that their marriage is a symbol of Christ's love for the Church, and that their wedding ring is merely a symbol of that sacred bond.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Nochaeld, remember the words of Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Lastly, we urge you to forgive those who may be searching for the ring with wrong motives. As Jesus taught us, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you" (Matthew 6:14, WEB). Trust that God will handle this situation according to His will and for His glory.

We've been thinking about Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's ask God to heal your heart and give you peace amidst this situation.

We also want to encourage you to keep searching, but not just for the ring. Keep seeking God's face in this. As it says in Proverbs 3:6, "In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." Let's trust that God will guide you and your wife in this search.

And hey, maybe it's time to upgrade that metal detector! Could be a sign that God wants you to invest in a better tool for the job. Just a thought.
