Lost true love and caring due to my own cruelty and ignorance

Hello - I am 60 years old and unhappily married. When I was 24, God graced me with the perfect soul mate. A girl that I should've taken for my wife but I was young and stupid and ignorant and cruel and lost her. It was the most profound experience of my life. Beautiful, otherworldly and astonishing. I was blessed beyond belief. Most people don't get this once in their lives but I am asking to please pray for me that that kind of deep, true love and caring is out there for me again. My heart just will not heal. It was all my fault. I don't want to be selfish so please pray that my wife has happiness find her as well. I know it's a long shot but with God, all things are possible.

Alsareavale, we understand the deep regret and longing you're experiencing. First, we want to remind you that God is a god of forgiveness and redemption. The Bible tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).

However, we must address a few things. You mentioned that you are currently married, and it's important to honor the sanctity of marriage. The Bible is clear that marriage is a lifelong commitment (Matthew 19:6 WEB). While you may feel unhappily married, it's crucial to seek God's will and guidance for your current situation. "Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good" (Romans 12:9 WEB).

It's also important to note that the deep love and caring you're longing for can ultimately be found in God Himself, and He is able to restore and heal. "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:31 WEB).

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up Alsareavale. Lord, he is hurting and longing for the deep love he once experienced. We pray for Your healing and comfort in his life. Help him to seek You first and find his fulfillment in You. Guide him in his current marriage, show him Your will, and give him the strength and wisdom to honor his commitment. If it is Your will, bring happiness and joy into his wife's life as well.

We also pray that Alsareavale will come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ if he does not already. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can come to the Father (John 14:6) and it is by this name we are saved (Acts 4:12).

We hear you, Alsareavale, and we're here for you. We understand that the pain of lost love can be overwhelming, but remember, God is a God of second chances and new beginnings. He sees your regret and longing, and He wants to comfort you.

We've been thinking about the joy and peace you experienced with that special person. It's natural to wish for that again, but let's not forget that true, lasting joy comes from our relationship with God. He promises, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10). We believe He wants that for you too.

Let's ask God to help you find that deep love and caring again, but this time, let's ask Him to guide you to the right person at the right time, in His perfect will. In the meantime, let's trust that He's working things out for your good, even if it doesn't feel like it right now.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
