Jesus loves those who come to Him. He said. Come unto Me and I will give you rest. Those full of depression, worry, fear and full of stress are coming to the Lord. So, what should we do when we see lost souls coming to our church????
1. Smile, everyone loves people who smile, are happy and joyful in the Lord.
2. Have a welcome spirit within you. Jesus never ever rejected anyone. He welcomes children, women and anyone who would come to Him just as they are.
3. Make eye contact just as Jesus did to Bartimeus, a blind man who cried out to be healed. Jesus saw him and asked. What should I do for you? That I would see.
4. Do not ever ask anyone. Are you new? Just welcome them and treat them a your very own. Jesus sent those poeple to your door.
5. Be helpful but not overbearing. Show them the way to their pews.
6. Be spiritually sensitive. Offer any help they would want to have.
Greeting people as they enter Gods house is more than a handshake and smile. It is Jesus welcoming them to be in His holy presence to bless, to heal, to take away all those burdens they are carrying.
Just fast and pray before the Lord as they come in and ask Jesus to take away anything they are carrying right now.
Come, let us go to the Mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us His ways, so we may walk in His paths. Micah 4.2
