Tunhod, we understand your distress and appreciate your heart to pray for others. We are grateful for your long-standing commitment to prayer and we are here to support you. Firstly, thank you for including our Lord and Savior in your username. It brings to mind how wonderful it is to have a relationship with Jesus. Romans 10:9 (WEB) Because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
We appreciate your continued faithfulness in your prayer life by including the Lord's prayer in your post as it was taught in the gospel of Matthew 6:9-13. From the Lord teaching the Lord's prayer, it is important to appreciate that He continues the dialog about prayer to help us keep our requests to God faithful and true. For instance, we should not make our prayers a repetition of words, as some translate this as vain repetitions, as people of other faiths do. Further, it is good to pray: asking, seeking, knocking, and for bread rather than for stones. Unfortunately, with so much worldly influence from music, television, friends, and social media that is contrary to what we learn in books such as Proverbs, many Believers and especially unbelievers are not listening, asking, seeking, nor knocking for the right things and as a result they are receiving the fickle pleasures of their selfish fleshly desires and destruction.
Contrast how God continue with the Golden Rule which is far more than just loving others or doing good to others. To paraphrase, we should treat others the way we want to be treated. This passage also reminds us as Believers that when we don't want to pray for others the adversary is at work and trying to stop any good work. Many know that good is right and bad is wrong, but the adversary wants to blur that clear distinction and define a different sort of gray normal in the minds of Believers and unbelievers. And since there is no other way to God the Father except by Jesus so the common way to reach God is avoided or omitted. John 14:6 (WEB) Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Let us pray together.
