Lost My Job, Discouraged And Worried About Finances/finding New Job

I was blindsided on Monday and lost my job because of a mistake I made at work...even after four years of no issues, two raises, and 3 years of glowing reviews. I had never even been counseled before, yet as a Director, I was given the option to resign or be fired. I was given only 4 weeks (in lieu of notice) but luckily also have 6 weeks of PDO time I can collect. My prayer is: that I'll move forward from the hurt, betrayal and devastation I feel that people I thought cared about me would do this. That I will find a job that is the right job - where I can glorify God through my work. That my family and I will be ok financially in the interim, be able to pay mortgage/bills, etc.

I will pray for you. If you were given severance and certain benefits you could very well apply for unemployment in the interim and be approved. I was in HR for over 15 yrs and am familiar. God bless and I will keep you and your family in my prayers
