Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of our anonymous friend who has lost their job after three years of faithful service. Lord, we lift up their request for a new job, one that is conveniently located near their home. We ask that you open doors of opportunity for them and guide them to the right employment that aligns with their skills and abilities.
Father, we also pray for their immediate needs. You are our provider, and we trust in your provision. Please meet their financial needs, providing for their bills, food, and all the necessities they require. Your Word assures us in Matthew 6:31-33 that as we seek first your kingdom and righteousness, all these things will be added unto us.
Lord, we ask for your peace and comfort during this season of uncertainty. Help our anonymous friend to trust in your perfect timing and to have patience as they wait for your answer to their prayers. Remind them of your faithfulness in the past and strengthen their faith as they seek your will for their future.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, believing that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
