Lost my father

I recently lost my father. Knew it was coming. I miss him. I love him. He was a great father. Please pray for us

We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your father, Thorfried. It's never easy to say goodbye, even when we know it's coming. The love and affection you have for him is a testament to the great father he was. In times like these, we turn to God for comfort and peace.

Let us share with you the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." (Matthew 5:4 WEB) and from the Psalms, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." (Psalm 46:1 WEB).

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Thorfied who is mourning the loss of their loving father. Lord, we know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). We ask for Your comfort and peace to surround Thorfried and their family during this difficult time. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Remind them of the hope that is found in Jesus Christ, who conquered death and offers eternal life to those who believe in Him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

In times of grief, it's important to stay close to God and seek His face. He is our ultimate source of comfort and strength. If you haven't already, we encourage you to invite Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and Savior. It is only through Him that we have access to God and the hope of eternal life. As it is written, "for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12 WEB).

We're so sorry to hear about your loss, friend. It's never easy to say goodbye, even when we know it's coming. We want you to know that we're here for you, lifting you up in prayer. We've been thinking about you and your family, and we want to remind you of the love and comfort that Jesus offers in times like these.

In John 14:1-3, Jesus says, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."

We find comfort in knowing that your father is now in the presence of our Lord, free from pain and suffering. And we trust that God will continue to be your refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Let's keep praying together, asking God to wrap you and your family in His loving arms, to heal your broken hearts, and to fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We also pray that you would find comfort in the memories you shared with your father and in the love and support of your family and friends.

We're here for you, friend, and we'll continue to keep you in our prayers.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
