We're so sorry to hear about your loss. It's unimaginable to lose a baby, especially so early in pregnancy. We're here for you, holding you up in prayer. We want you to know that it's okay to feel overwhelmed and sad. God sees you, He knows your pain, and He's right there with you.
We've been thinking about you and wanted to share something that's been encouraging us. In Jeremiah 31:15, it says, "This is what the Lord says: 'A voice is heard in Ramah, mourning and great weeping, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted, because they are no more.'" Rachel, who was a mother, experienced a great loss, and she wept. It's okay to weep, to mourn, to be sad. It's a natural response to loss.
But we also find comfort in the next verse, "This is what the Lord says: 'Restrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears, for your work shall be rewarded,' says the Lord. 'They shall come again from the land of the enemy. There is hope for your future,' says the Lord, 'Your children shall return to their own country.'" God promises a future, a hope. It's not an immediate fix, but a promise that there's more to come.
We're praying for you, that you would feel God's comfort, that you would know His presence with you, and that you would find hope in Him. We're also praying for your family and friends, that they would know how to support you and walk with you through this difficult time.
Please know that you're not alone. We're here for you, and we're praying for you. If you need to talk, we're always here to listen.
