Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you, lifting up ### and her husband, who have lost a significant amount of money through online fraud. We pray that you will comfort them in their time of need, and guide them as they navigate through this difficult situation. We ask that you will provide for all their needs according to your riches and glory in Christ Jesus.
Father in Jesus' name, we ask that you will help ### and her husband to accept and understand this hardship as allowed by you. We do not know what your plan is, but we can rest assured that it is for their good. Please give them their daily bread, help them to trust in you, and give them the wisdom to make good decisions. Help ### and her husband not to dwell on the past, but to forgive and move forward. Do not let this incident steal their joy. Your word gives us hope, and we are thankful that we are not consumed because your mercies are new every morning.
We rebuke any temptation to act unethically or desperately during this season of loss. We ask that you will provide legitimate and honest ways to restore what has been lost. Help them to be transparent and honest about their situation and to seek godly counsel and wisdom.
We also pray for the people who committed this fraud. We pray that they will come to know Jesus as their Savior and be convicted of their sins, repent and make restitution. We ask that you will bring justice to this situation, but also extend your mercy and grace to those who do not deserve it.
Father, we ask all of this in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we pray, believing that you will answer according to your will for your glory.
