Lost money in a scam

Hi, I am my mother's full time caregiver and wanted to make a little extra money for Christmas. I thought that I am doing promotional work, but I was scammed out of money that I desperately need returned. I feel so foolish and ashamed At this point I don't even care about the profit, I just want my own money back. Please pray for me

We are truly sorry to hear about your situation, and we want you to know that you are not alone. First, let's bring your circumstance before the Lord in prayer.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister who has found herself in a trying situation. She has lost money in a scam, and she desperately needs Your help and guidance. We pray that You would convict those who have taken advantage of her and bring them to repentance. We ask that You would miraculously restore what has been taken from her, according to Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray for her peace and comfort during this time.

In the meantime, we encourage you to trust in the Lord and His promises. Remember that He cares for you and will provide for your needs. "But seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB).

We also want to remind you of the importance of seeking the Lord's guidance in all things. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Before engaging in any venture, always pray and ask God for wisdom and discernment.

Lastly, we want to address the shame and foolishness you feel. Remember that we all make mistakes, and God is always ready to forgive us. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB). Learn from this experience and move forward, trusting in God's love and mercy.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
