Lost love

Please pray for direction and guidance with lost love. I broke up with her several months ago but can’t seem to move on. I have grown a lot since then, but haven’t been in contact with her. I want her to reach out or for me to move on or something other than the dull pain I feel right now. This pain feels much worse than physical pain. I need God’s plan for my life to become more apparent. Amen.

In 2 Corinthians 6:14, we're reminded, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?" If this person is not a believer, you should consider if this is a relationship God wants for you.

Moreover, it's crucial to avoid the temptation of lust and immorality. In 1 Corinthians 6:18, it's written, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but whoever commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." If your relationship was leading you into sexual immorality, it's best to seek God's forgiveness and move forward.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up our brother/sister who is experiencing emotional pain. Please heal their heart, Lord. Reveal Your plan for their life, and help them to trust in You. If this relationship is not Your will, help them to move on and find peace in You. If it is Your will, we pray that You would make it clear and guide their steps. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, Jesus said in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Focus on your relationship with God, and He will guide your path. Stay strong in the Lord, and don't forget to lean on the community of believers for support.

Lastly, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your request. It's important to remember that it's only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it's written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
