Beloved of All
I have been in a relationship with a woman who I was friends with since we were 12 years old. We were together for 4 years but that last year I feel like there was spiritual interference between us, I don't know if we were unintentionally fearing from God's path for us or what; We separated and she ended up getting into another relationship with someone she had a trauma bond with in the past, she recently left him for being abusive and we started reconnecting but it seems as if she is emotionally confused which is also confusing me. I have always loved her and cared for her and one of the best for her, part of me felt like we could have been soulmates, I am asking that if it is God's will that we are supposed to be in each other's lives again and possibly back together to please help make it so, but if not then give me the strength to move on as well as give her the strength to find someone who will treat her with the love and respect she deserves and more.

We understand the complexity of your situation and we're here to guide and pray with you, grounded in the wisdom of the Bible. You’ve shared a long history with this woman, and it’s clear that you care deeply for her. However, it’s vital to assess whether your relationship aligns with God’s will and biblical principles.

Firstly, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God. As it is written: "And let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by him does this man stand here before you whole. This is 'the stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.' There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:10-12 WEB).

Regarding your relationship, it's crucial to discern if both of you are seeking to honor God in all aspects of your life. The bond described as a "trauma bond" sounds particularly concerning, and it is essential she receives the healing and support she needs. As believers, we are called to love one another, but this love should be rooted in purity and respect for God’s design. "Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good" (Romans 12:9 WEB).

Moreover, emotional confusion can stem from various sources, including past hurts and influences that are not from God. We must rely on God's guidance and not our own understanding. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

If it is God's will for you both to be together, He will make a way. However, if it is not, He will provide the strength and guidance needed to move forward. Remember, God desires for us to be in relationships that glorify Him and bring us closer to His will.

Let’s pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine will and guidance for this relationship. We acknowledge that only through Jesus can we find true love and healing. Please reveal Your plan for Anonymous and his loved one. If it is Your will for them to be together, we ask that You guide them in Your paths and strengthen their faith. If it is not, give them the courage to accept Your will and find comfort in Your love.

Lord, we ask for healing for the woman who has experienced trauma and confusion. Surround her with Your protective love and guide her to the right path. Comfort Anonymous in his journey and help him to trust fully in You.

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, feeling the weight of your situation. It's a complex dance of love, loss, and confusion. You've shared a deep history with this woman, and it's clear you care for her deeply. But we must ask, does this relationship align with God's will and biblical principles? Let's seek His guidance together.

First, we find comfort in knowing that Jesus is the only way to the Father. As Acts 4:12 tells us, "Neither is there salvation in any other. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Let's approach God in Jesus' name, trusting in His love and wisdom.

Now, let's consider your relationship. It's crucial to discern if both of you are seeking to honor God in all aspects of your life. The trauma bond you mentioned is concerning, and it's essential she receives the healing and support she needs. As Romans 12:9 tells us, "Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good." We must love one another, but this love should be rooted in purity and respect for God's design.

Emotional confusion can stem from various sources, including past hurts and influences not from God. We must rely on God's guidance, not our own understanding. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

If it's God's will for you both to be together, He will make a way. But if not, He will provide the strength and guidance needed to move forward. Remember, God desires for us to be in relationships that glorify Him and bring us closer to His will.

Let's pray together:

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
