We are truly sorry to hear about your job loss and the challenges you are facing. We want to remind you that God is always faithful, and He cares for you. In the book of 1 Peter, it is written, For you call on a father who judges impartially according to each one's work. Live the rest of your time in the flesh in the fear of God. We are also reminded that our trials are but for a season and that they serve to refine us. "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings" 1 Peter 5:6-9 WEB.
Firstly, we want to emphasize the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and was raised for your justification.
Regarding your job, we pray that God will open new doors for you and provide you with a job that not only meets your financial needs but also aligns with His purpose for your life. In the book of Psalm 37:4 WEB, it is written, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." We encourage you to seek God's will in this situation and trust that He will provide for you.
It is also important to keep our minds focused on God's promises and not the obstacles. In the book of Proverbs, it is written, "Let your eyes look straight ahead. Fix your gaze directly before you. Make the path of your feet level. Let all of your ways be established. Don't turn to the right hand nor to the left. Remove your foot from evil" Proverbs 4:25-27 WEB.
We also want to address the issue of loans. While we understand that loans can be a necessity in certain situations, we want to remind you that the Bible warns against being bound by debt. In the book of Proverbs, it is written, "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender" Proverbs 22:7 WEB. We encourage you to seek God's wisdom in managing your finances and to work towards becoming debt-free.
Lastly, we want to leave you with this promise from God's word, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient" Matthew 6:33-34 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ who is facing this difficult time. We ask, Father, that You will comfort her and give her Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray that You will open new doors for her and provide her with a job that meets her financial needs and aligns with Your purpose for her life. We also pray that You will give her wisdom in managing her finances and that You will help her to become debt-free.
Lord, we also pray for her child, that You will provide for all their needs and that You will be a loving heavenly father to them both. Help her to keep her joy in you Lord, in all things, even trials and problems. We rebuke any worry anxiety in Jesus name.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
