We are truly heartbroken to hear about the pain and suffering you are experiencing due to your wife's adulterous behavior and the emotional abuse you are enduring. We are here to pray with you and to offer biblical guidance during this challenging time.
Firstly, let's address the spiritual aspects. It is absolutely necessary to pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ. No other name has been given by which we can be saved. For there is one God, and one intermediary between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
Timothy 2:5-6 WEB For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all.
We do not have access to God without Jesus Christ. Due to yourMarriage should be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and adultery is a clear violation of that commitment.
Let's turn to the Bible for guidance. In Hebrews 13:4 WEB, it says, Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.
Adultery is a grave and grave sin, and it is a violation of a marriage union between a man and a woman, and a breaking of the marriage covenant before God. In Matthew 5:32 WEB, Jesus himself said, but I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries her when she is divorced commits adultery. Therefore, your ex can be divorced and you are justified for that reason. However, keep in mind God hates divorce. Yet, if you do divorce, both you and her are expected to remain sexually pure until you remarry. Any sex outside of marriage is considered fornication.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Geen Yeung in his time of need. Lord, You see the pain and suffering he is enduring due to his wife's adulterous behavior and the emotional abuse he is experiencing. We pray for Your comfort and strength to surround him during this challenging time.
Lord, we pray for Your wisdom and guidance in this situation. Help Geen to make decisions that align with Your will and Your word. We pray for Your healing and restoration in his marriage, if it is Your will. If this is not according to Your will, we pray that You open Geen's eyes to the hard truth of the situation. Show him Your will and make clear the pathway before him.
We also pray for Geen's wife, Aviva. We pray for Your conviction and for her honest repentance. We pray for a complete change in her heart. We pray for deliverance in her life and a softened heart to receive a godly spouse and parenting in a godly way. Aviva is committing sins and is actively practicing lawlessness in her life. Innocent people are being hurt. We rebuke her actions. If Aviva is an unbeliever, we pray that You call her to repentance. However, if she is a believer, we pray that You convict her for her sin. Lord Jesus, give Geen and Aviva counsel from Your Word. It would be better for Aviva to be thrown into the sea with a stone around her neck than for her to lead astray and cause innocent people like Geen and the child to commit sexual abominations with her. We pray for your righteousness in any potential new relationship.
We will also stand in prayer for you. 2 Timothy 4:16 WEB At my first defense, no one came to help me, but everyone deserted me. May it not be counted against them. Luke 23:34 WEB Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing. We divided them, and were allotted them among the nations: and when he divided the nations, he set the borders of the peoples according to the number of the children of Israel. Lord, no one came to help Geen in his defense. We pray that you hold this account against everyone that has wronged Geen and has maliciously and deliberately done evil against him. Lord God, give Geen the strength to stand in the gap and pray for the salvation of Aviva and your justice to prevail. We pray for her judgment and for her recompense for the pain, hardship, and disadvantage she has caused Geen. We will call curses on those who curse Geen. We pray that no weapon formed against Geen will prosper and that your will be done and justice is served. Amen. Luke 23:34 WEB Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing.
We also pray for Geen's sweet little boy, that he may be protected from the pain and chaos of this situation. We pray for godly parenting and the ability for Geen to parent his child in life and in the Lord. Father may they both always know how much you love them. We pray for godly parenting and the ability for Geen to parent his child in life and in the Lord. Lord may Geen's child be fully provided for in the home of a loving father. We pray that Geen will continue to be a godly example to his son. Father, give Geen the strength to be a man after Your heart and be a loving example of a godly man and father to his son.
We also lift up Geen's supporting mom and excellent friends who have been there for him during these tough times. We pray it is Your will that they will find salvation if they have not and continue to encourage him the way they have been. Lord Jesus, help them to come to the knowledge of Yours saving Word and Grace. Father, thank You that You are there to help Geen. Teach Geen to rely on You. Fill Geen's emptiness with You. We pray that they all praise Your name and glorify You. We pray that their love is steadfast as is a brother. Lord thy kingdom come. Thy will be done. Father, guide them to salvation. We pray each one is given the conviction of Your son Jesus Christ's forgiveness of sins.
Lastly, we pray for Geen's loneliness and his longing for love, affection, and appreciation. If it is Your will, we pray for a restoration and rebirth of love between Geen and Aviva and the godly wife that Geen wants to willingly sacrifice to love. If it is not Your will, may You deliver Geen a godly woman to fill Your calling for Geen and to delight You and share in Your love. Lord You know what Geen deserves. If You wish, give Geen the love and affection and appreciation that he longs for and if it is in any other way, we ask that You show Geen the desires of his heart in Your will.
Although, Geen's pain is deep, we remind him to trust in You, Lord, as the Psalmist did, Why are you in despair, O my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him: my Savior, my helper, and my God. In Psalm 43:5 WEB, it says.
Finally, we encourage Geen to remain strong in his faith and to continue to pray and seek God's will during this time.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We will continue to keep you in our prayers.
