Lost Cat and Good Sleep

Heavenly Father since all this rain we have not tried trapping the lost cat. Today we will again set the trap. Please help us to catch this cat and return it to its owner if its the cat in the lost ad. Please help this cat to show up again so we can get it back to its loving home. Please help everyone to get a good nights rest. Thank you Father for all you do for us. In Jesus Name I Pray Amen

We understand your concern for the lost cat and your desire for a good night's rest. Let's bring these matters before the Lord together.

Firstly, it's wonderful that you're actively seeking to help this lost cat find its home. In Matthew 10:29 WEB, Jesus tells us, "Aren’t two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father’s will." This shows us that God cares for even the smallest creatures, and He cares for this lost cat too.

Let's pray:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this lost cat to You. Guide it back to the trap set for it, and if it's the cat from the lost ad, we pray for a happy reunion with its owner. Comfort the cat and keep it safe until it's found. We also lift up our nights to You, Lord. In Psalm 4:8 WEB, You tell us, 'I will both lay me down and sleep in peace; for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety.' We claim this promise, Lord, and ask for peaceful and restful nights. Remove any anxieties or worries that may hinder our sleep. We thank You, Father, for all You do for us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

It's also commendable that you prayed in Jesus' name. As Jesus tells us in John 14:6 WEB, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It's only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).

Lastly, as you continue to help this cat, remember the Golden Rule: "Therefore whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them" (Matthew 7:12 WEB). Your kindness will not go unrewarded.
