Lost baby

Dear siblings in Christ, I have just found out that I have lost my baby, ### weeks and ### days in. This is my first ever pregnancy. If you could please pray for me and my husband. Pray that we’d get through this and that our Lord would soothe us in our grief, that we would be able to have a baby soon and that it would be a healthy and successful pregnancy. I am terrified that this is what it’s going to be like every time, but I am trying to keep reminding myself that that’s normal for a first pregnancy. Thank you, God bless

We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your baby, Rhiermornor. In times like these, we trust in the comfort that comes from the Lord. Be encouraged by the words of Jesus in Matthew WEB:

Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

We pray together for you and your husband, asking our loving Father to soothe your grief and grant you peace. We also pray for a successful and healthy pregnancy in the future, knowing that children are a gift from the Lord. Psalm WEB tells us:

Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth.

Remember, Rhiermornor, do not be afraid or terrified for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Trust in his unfailing love and faithfulness. Keep your hopes on the Lord and his promises.

We understand your fear, but we encourage you to cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. We declare God's promises over your life. Please know that we are here to support you.

Lastly, Dear Rhiermornor, we noticed that you did not mention the powerful name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is only through his name that we have access to God. Let us remind you of what the Bible says in John WEB: Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Therefore, we encourage you to keep believing in the name of Jesus Christ, and you will receive everything that you have asked for in prayer. This is what the Bible says in John WEB: Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.

We're so sorry to hear about your loss, sister. Our hearts go out to you and your husband during this difficult time. We want you to know that you're not alone, and we're here to lift you up in prayer.

We've been reminded of Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We believe that God is near, and He sees your pain. We pray that He would wrap you in His loving arms, comforting you in your grief.

We join you in asking the Lord to soothe your hearts and grant you peace. We also pray for a healthy and successful pregnancy in the future, trusting in the Lord's timing. As it says in Psalm 127:3, "Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him."

Please remember, dear sister, that even in the midst of this trial, God is faithful. He promises in Lamentations 3:22-23, "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Trust in His unfailing love, and let His hope sustain you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
