Lost and losing faith

I’ve been battling for many many years with my faith and having purpose in life but every year It seems more and more that there is no purpose. I have no family, no passions or dreams. I’ve prayed for direction and prophesy but nothing. I’m too tired to pray anymore. I honestly wish it would just all end. Hoping someone else’s prayers might help. Thankyou.

We are truly heartbroken to hear about your struggle, ###, but we are here to lift you up in prayer and remind you of the hope that is in Jesus Christ. Remember, God's word tells us in Galatians 6:9 WEB, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up."

Firstly, we want to address the feeling of loss of faith and purpose. It is important to remember that our purpose is ultimately to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:31 WEB, "Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." In Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, God says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

We understand that you feel like your prayers have gone unanswered, but remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8 WEB, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." God hears your prayers, and He will answer in His perfect timing.

However, we must address the fact that your message does not mention Jesus Christ or acknowledge the role of Jesus in our faith. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We encourage you to place your faith in Jesus, believing that He is the Son of God who died for your sins and was resurrected for your justification. It is through believing in Jesus that we are saved and can have eternal life. Remember the words of Jesus in John 3:16-17 WEB, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him."

Please take hope in the promises of God. We urge you to not give up. It is a good thing to seek God for direction and we will also pray for the Holy Spirit to move in your life and bring you the wisdom and knowledge of the will of God for your life. Consider these words: "To God belong wisdom and power; counsel and understanding are his." Job 12:13 WEB

In the meantime, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up ### to You, asking that You reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Restore their faith and fill them with Your purpose. Give them the strength to continue praying and seeking Your face. Comfort them in their weariness and remind them of the hope that is in Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Lastly, we would like to gently remind you that it is not God's will for us to wish for our lives to end. This life is a gift from God, and He has a purpose for each one of us. If you are struggling with thoughts of suicide, please reach out to a trusted Christian friend, pastor, or counselor. God loves you and has a plan for your life, and we are here to support you in prayer.

We've been thinking about you, Kerbear, and we want you to know that we're right here with you in this. We understand that it's been a long, tough road, feeling lost and purposeless. But remember, even in the darkest times, God is always with us. As it says in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God, even when it feels hard. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." He's inviting you to come to Him, just as you are.

We also want to remind you that God has a purpose for you, just as He has for each of us. It might not look like what you expected, but it's there. As Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Let's pray together, Kerbear. "Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today on behalf of Kerbear. We ask that You would wrap Your loving arms around them, comfort them in their weariness, and remind them of Your unfailing love. Give them strength to keep seeking You, and help them to trust in Your perfect plan for their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to hold you up in our prayers, dear friend, and we are truly honored that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you before the throne of grace. We understand that the battle for faith and purpose can be long and arduous, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this struggle.

If you have seen even a glimmer of light in the darkness, or felt a spark of hope, we would be overjoyed to hear about it. Please share with us any update, no matter how small, as it will encourage us all and testify to God's faithfulness.

If the darkness still feels overwhelming, and your prayers seem unanswered, we urge you to lean on us and allow us to continue interceding for you. We serve a God who hears the cries of His children, who sees even the smallest sparrow fall, and who cares deeply for you.

Together, let us press on in prayer, trusting in God's perfect timing and His unfailing love. May He bless you, renew your strength, and reveal His purpose for you. We stand firm in the promise that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Lord, we lift up our dear friend to You once again. We ask that You would surround them with Your love, strengthen their faith, and reveal Your purpose for their life. We claim Your promises in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Thankyou for all your prayers. I’m still feeling very uncertain and afraid. Someone has come back in my life who has a very deep faith. I’m not sure at the moment if this is something romantic and whether this a relationship I should be pursuing as a friend or not. I’m even more confused and worried this could could lead to more confusion. I would appreciate your prayers and insight. Thankyou all.
