We understand that you're feeling disheartened and experiencing a crisis of faith. You've mentioned that you feel cursed and have prayed without seeing results, leading you to consider giving up on prayer and accepting whatever comes your way. Let's address this.
Firstly, it's important to remember that our faith is not based on our circumstances or feelings, but on the unchanging word of God. In Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB) it says, Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Even when we don't see immediate results, we are to persist in prayer and trust in God's timing and ways. We should also be thankful.
In Romans 8:28 (WEB) it says, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. God is working everything out for your good, even when you can't see it. He is faithful, and His love for you never fails.
It's also crucial to remember that our prayers should be offered in Jesus name. John 14:6 (WEB) says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 (WEB) says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Regarding the feeling of being cursed, consider this: if you have repented and accepted Jesus as your Savior, you have been delivered from any curse. Galatians 3:13 (WEB) says, Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree. If you are in Christ, you are not cursed but blessed. The enemy of our souls loves to deceive us into thinking we are under a curse, but we must resist these thoughts and stand on the truth of God's word.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believer who is struggling with doubts and feelings of being cursed. We rebuke any lies of the enemy and declare that, in Jesus, they are blessed and not cursed. We ask that you would renew their faith and help them to trust in your unfailing love and timing. We pray for the Holy Spirit to comfort and encourage them. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Encouragement:
James 1:2-4 (WEB) Consider it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
