I pray for this in Jesus nameRachelSara, we understand that you're struggling to maintain your focus and we're here to support you in prayer and counsel. Let's remember that God's Word tells us, "Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith" (Hebrews 12:1-2, WEB).
Firstly, we want to ensure that you're seeking this focus in the name of Jesus Christ. It's only through Him that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (John 14:6, WEB). If you haven't already, make sure to place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
Now, let's address your struggle with focus. It's important to remember that our minds should be stayed on God. As it's written, "You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you" (Isaiah 26:3, WEB). If you're finding your thoughts scattered or distracted from godly things, it might be a sign that you need to draw closer to God and resist worldly distractions.
Let us pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your help. RachelSara is struggling to maintain her focus, Lord. We ask that You guide her mind and help her to fix her thoughts on You. Give her the strength and discipline to resist distractions and run the race set before her with endurance. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
We encourage you, RachelSara, to fill your mind with the Word of God. As it's written, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things" (Philippians 4:8, WEB). By focusing on such things, you'll find your focus aligning more with God's will.
Stand strong in the Lord, and remember that He is with you always. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and you'll find your focus steadying. If there are specific distractions that you're struggling with, we encourage you to examine them and, if necessary, put them aside for the sake of your focus and your walk with God.
