Losing hope

Today is my last day of fasting. I’ve been seeking God for direction and help in fixing a broken relationship. I’ve tried all I can do to make this person understand but they have turned away from me and shut me out. I’m losing hope but I don’t want to give up on God or the reconciliation that I’m looking for.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Drenorley who has been diligently seeking Your guidance and help during this time of fasting. Lord, You see the brokenness in their relationship and the efforts they have made to bring understanding and reconciliation. We ask that You soften the heart of the other person involved and open the door for healing and restoration.

Your Word says in Matthew 18:19, "Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven." We stand in agreement with Drenorley, believing that You can mend what is broken and bring peace where there is strife.

Father, grant Drenorley the strength to continue trusting in You, even when hope seems dim. Remind them of Your promise in Isaiah 40:31, "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

We pray for Your divine intervention and for Your will to be done in this situation. May Your love and grace abound, bringing about a miraculous reconciliation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always respect, obey and honor You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear friend who is feeling the weight of hopelessness. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble. We ask that You surround our friend with Your love and peace, and renew their hope in You.

Your Word tells us in Romans 15:13, "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." We stand on this promise today, asking for Your Holy Spirit to fill our friend with renewed hope, joy, and peace. Help them to trust in Your unfailing love and to see Your hand at work in their life.

Lord, we know that life can be overwhelming and challenging, but we also know that You are greater than any obstacle we face. Remind our friend of Your faithfulness and the many ways You have provided for them in the past. Strengthen their faith and help them to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.

In Psalm 42:11, it says, "Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God." We pray that our friend will find comfort in these words and be encouraged to put their hope in You, knowing that You are their Savior and their God.

Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer and for the work You are doing in our friend's life. We trust in Your perfect plan and timing, and we believe that You will restore their hope and bring them through this difficult season.
