We are truly saddened to hear about the impending departure of your foster child after two years together. Let us come before the Lord in prayer and seek His comfort and guidance during this difficult time.
Firstly, let us remember the words of the Lord Jesus in John 14:18 (WEB), "I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you." Just as He promised His disciples, He promises us that we are not alone in our grief. He is present with us, comforting us, and caring for the precious child that has been in your care.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Behkakari and their family in this time of heartache. Lord, You know the pain they are feeling as they face the departure of their dear foster child. We ask, Father, that You would wrap Your loving arms around them and grant them peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we thank You for the precious time they had with this child. We know that Your will is perfect, and even in this sorrow, we trust in Your plan. Please be with the child as they transition, and continue to watch over them, keeping them safe and healthy.
God, we also ask that You provide Behkakari and their family with wisdom and strength. Help them to rest in the knowledge that You are in control and that You love this child even more than they do. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
In this trying time, let us recall the comforting words in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (WEB), "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
Behkakari, remember that your love and care for this foster child are not in vain. You have been a beacon of love and hope to this precious life, and God sees your good deeds. Stay strong in faith, trusting that God is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
Lastly, if you haven't already, ensure that you bring your petitions to God in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you have any questions about this, we would be glad to discuss it further.
