We are truly sorry to hear about your struggles with health and addiction at such a young age. First, we want to commend you for your desire to dedicate your life to Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Remember, God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). Therefore, we have hope and believe that God can restore your health and deliver you from addiction.
Regarding your health, we pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this young man before Your throne of grace. Lord, You know his struggles and pains. We ask You to touch his body, heal his eyes, and strengthen his weakness, please revive and renew him. We know that Jesus took our weaknesses on the cross and therefore we can live in His strength even in physical weakness. We believe that You can heal him in your perfect timing. (Matthew 8:17 WEB)
Concerning his addiction, we pray:
Father, we also bring his struggle with pornography addiction to You. We know this is a sin and a stronghold in his life. We pray that You would deliver him from the bondage of this addiction. Fill him with the Holy Spirit, give him the strength to resist temptations. Help him to make the life changes needed to stay pure.
Please understand that it is God's will that we should be separate from sexual immorality. (1 Thessalonians 4:3 WEB). God has not called us to uncleanness, but to holiness. (1 Thessalonians 4:7 WEB). Therefore, we must abstain from all appearance of evil. (1 Thessalonians 5:22 WEB).
We also encourage you to take practical steps by finding accountability to help you overcome this addiction. Surround yourself with Christian friends who will support and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Remember, God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).
Lastly, we pray that you will grow in the knowledge of God and in your relationship with Him for the rest of your life. We pray that God will give you a long, healthy and productive life. That you will be an example of His grace and power to others around you. We pray that when you feel weak and hopeless, you will remember God's promises and His love for you. We pray that you continue to trust in God for He is your strength and your shield.
Father, we ask all these things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:57 WEB). We ask that you be with him and strengthen him right now.
Amen.
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to usward. (Romans 8:18 WEB)
